Come and celebrate the first festival with a grand procession from the town to the main pullover in Mablethorpe, culminating in fireworks and a party on the beach.
The procession will start at 7pm from Stanley Avenue. Come and join in!
The beach party with fireworks, will take place on the beach in front of the star of the east. Dress as a Bathing Beauty. Bring a picnic!

New beach huts

The new designer beach huts built as a result of the international Bathing Beauties Competition will be installed and launched at the festival:

1. Jabba by i-am associates, in the dunes at Seaview Carpark North Mablethorpe
2. The Mablethorpe Camera Obscura by Willett and Patteson (as above)
3. Come Up and See Me by Michael Trainor (as above)
4. Eyes Wide sHut by Feix and Merlin at 37 Mablethorpe South Promenade
5. Halcyon Hut by Atelier NU at 68 Sutton South Promenade
(S. end of block F)

Lead artist Michael Trainor will be leading a walking tour of the new huts to officially launch them. Interested? Meet at Mablethorpe Pullover under The Star of The East

Festival Schedule

Saturday Sept 22nd

10.00 AM Mablethorpe and Sutton Festival begins
Events and performances in huts, on the beach and on the sea front.

5.00 PM Daytime activities end.

7.00 PM Grand Procession.
From Stanley Avenue to the main pull-over in Mablethorpe

7.30 PM Beach Party/Fireworks
Mablthorpe beach in front of the Star of the East
(Weather permitting.)

9.30 PM End for the day.

Sunday Sept 23rd

10.00 AM Day Two begins
Events and performances in huts, etc.

11.00 AM Morgan and MG Car Rally
MG’s assemble at Seaview car park , meet Morgans at Seacroft Road car park and then go to Sutton on Sea pull-over.

4.00 PM Festival ends with drumming on the beach.
