A SPECIAL display from the famous Red Arrows formed part of Mablethorpe’s illuminations switch-on during Sunday, July 22, the event saw the nine Red Arrows perform an exciting fly past and display. The display was followed by a procession through the town and an evening of entertainment on the town’s recently refurbished Pullover, at the top of the High Street.

The illuminations switch-on wais to be the highlight of the holiday season. Soapstar, Kelly of Coronation Street Illuminated Mablethorpe!!!

The District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Councillor Neil Cooper, said the Red Arrows are renowned worldwide as ambassadors for both the Royal Air Force and the United Kingdom, so there presence makes this a very special occasion: “Each year the Council works hard to make the illuminations switch-on bigger and better and this promises to be a very exciting family even.,”
