Maltby le Marsh sits snugly in the area of the Lincolnshire wolds, between Alford to the south, Mablethorpe 3 miles to the east and Louth to the west.
Set aside the main A1104 road, Maltby le Marsh has led to a recent boom in house building although the traditional industry of the village. Farming has been in decline for some time as far as the small family business is concerned this has turned the Maltby le Marsh into residential instead of working village.
Fernlea Nurseries, Grange Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, Grange Holiday Cottages, Oham Lakes Touring Caravan Site and Fishing Lake and the Turks Head Public House are to be found in Maltby le Marsh village. Also the Crown Inn is open for food and ale.
