The Baptist Chapel was in use until the late sixties when declining congregations forced it to close. Baptisms were performed there in a stone bath by full emersion. It had an upstairs balcony, some way behind the chapel is the old moated Manor House now occupied by Mr Richard White this is an old house but an even older one stood there in the past, the moat is still filled with water the Beesby road S bends take the public road away from the manor grounds.
