Maltby le Marsh sits snugly in the lea of the Lincolnshire wolds, between Alford to the south, Mablethorpe 3 miles to the east and Louth to the west.
Set aside the main A1104 road busy with through traffic and easy access
has led to a recent boom in house building although the traditional industry
of the village. Farming has been in decline for some time as far as the
small family business is concerned this has turned the village into residential
instead of working.
