Neighbourhood Management involves communities working with local
service providers to improve services at a neighbourhood level.
Its aim is to tackle issues that impact on the life's of local people,
which can:
- Involve local people in identifying needs
- Involve local people in being part of a formal partnership which
directly influences service delivery
- Strengthen relationships between local communities, their councillors
and service providers
- Ensure that key partners work together to communicate with people
- Neighbourhood management team working with the neighbourhood
policing team and other services to resolve local issues
The Neighbourhood Management Board is led by a Partnership Board
which is made up of:
5 residents from Mablethorpe
5 residents from Sutton on Sea
5 residents from Trusthorpe
1 Town Councillor
1 East Lindsey District Councillor
1 Lincolnshire County Councillor
and the chairs from the theme groups which are:
Policing, anti social behaviour, street scene and enforcement Improved
information and publicity of local services Young people's services
and facilities Regeneration, housing and planning Transport, accessibility
and highways Education, training, health services and prevention
Other key service providers are two young people representatives
and faith communities
