East Lindsey District Council is delighted to announce the return of the Community Ambassador Awards.
Following the huge success of last year’s awards, where we celebrated the incredible people who go above and beyond in our community, we’re now calling on residents to submit their nominations for this year’s ceremony, taking place in March 2026.
The awards celebrate individuals and groups who go above and beyond to make East Lindsey a fantastic place to live, work and visit. Nominations will open on 12 January and will run for four weeks.
This year’s award categories are:
- Town Pride Award
- Lifetime Contribution Award
- Outstanding Service Award
- Best Community-Led Improvement Project Award
- Rising Young Star Award
Councillor Sarah Devereux, Portfolio Holder for Partnerships at East Lindsey District Council, said:
“Last year’s Community Ambassador Awards were a fantastic celebration of the incredible people who make East Lindsey such a special place.
“The response was overwhelming, and it was inspiring to see so many individuals and groups recognised for their hard work and dedication.
“We’re thrilled to bring the awards back this year and encourage everyone to get involved by nominating those who go above and beyond in our communities.
“With nominations opening soon, I strongly encourage residents from across the district to get involved and help us recognise the people who make a real difference in our communities.
“There are so many individuals and groups who go above and beyond, and this is our chance to celebrate them.”
