For 2019 the Coastal Community Challenge staged a Christmas Market with traditional fairground rides and live entertainment from County Linx Radio. The event took place on Saturday the 7th which was a bright day and as warm as can be expected for the time of year. Various local groups supported the event including Mablethorpe Coastwatch and the Mablethorpe & District Motor Club. Santa also joined in with Breakfast with Santa at The Louth and, later, Santa in his Grotto at Gerardos from 1pm.

Many different formats of Christmas Event have been tried in Mablethorpe and this appeared to be one of the more successful with plenty of people enjoying the free rides and browsing the stalls.
