The chalet is sited on a quiet, private site just across the road from an award-winning sandy beach and promenade with its pretty beach huts and cafés. It is ideal for couples or the solo traveller wanting a quiet break by the sea. (Maximum occupancy is two adults).
The chalet is double-glazed and gas centrally heated and comprises:
- 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, television, fitted wardrobe, dresser and hairdryer
- Open-plan living area with large settee, television and DVD player
- Well-equipped kitchen including fridge, kettle, toaster, induction hob, microwave, mini oven, coffee machine and breakfast bar
- Shower room with hand basin and WC
- Outside is a small, enclosed patio area with outdoor seating
- Tea, coffee and sugar are provided in the canisters
The chalet is available for rent from 1st March until end of December. There is a 10% discount for all serving and ex-military personnel and their families, and one week a year is reserved per gratis for those returning from conflict areas or injured in the line of duty.
The location is ideally suited to walkers, cyclists and ornithologists and forms part of the England Coast Path. The coastline includes beaches, nature reserves and walking routes, some guided. There is a cycle route from Mablethorpe to Skegness (bicycles can be hired from Mablethorpe Cycle Hire). Coastal birds include marsh harrier, avocet, redshank and more and wildflowers such as marsh orchids can be found. Visit the seals at Donna Nook and the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary, the North Sea Observatory, or spend the day beach combing. There is much to do!
Bath and hand towels, bedding and toiletries are all provided, but please bring your own beach towels. Electricity is on a meter which takes £1 and £2 coins-there will be at least £5 in the meter on arrival. We are sorry, but the chalet is strictly pet free and non-smoking.
