How to Get Advice
Initial contact is made by attending a drop in session between 9am and 12noon on a Tuesday. You will see a volunteer advisor who will offer advice, refer you to the appropriate organisation or book you an appointment to see a specialist advisor.
You can also access the same service by calling Adviceline Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm on 0800 144 8848 or research information for yourself on the national Citizens Advice website.
Become a Citizens Advice Volunteer
Why not make new friends and help your community by becoming a Citizens Advice volunteer advisor or administrator? The system is fully computerised so IT skills are required but full training is given in how to correctly understand, research and document the problems of, and advice given to, the client.
