Coastal Community Teams are a government initiative to enable coastal communities to come together and develop a common vision and plans for their area.

CCT Committee

The Mablethorpe and Sutton CCT aims to meet monthly at the Mablethorpe Coastal Centre. The CCT committee is elected from and by members of the Mablethorpe Area Partnership (MAP).

• Chair: Dee Anderson
• Vice-Chair: Gareth Rowlands

Priorities

CCT’s may choose their own priorities. Ours are currently:

• The Replacement of the Sutton-on-Sea Colonnade
• The National Trust Nature Reserve at Sandilands
• The Campus for Future Living in Stanley Avenue, Mablethorpe
• The Leisure & Learning Centre with a Swimming Pool to replace the Station Sports Centre
• The Mablethorpe Mobihub Travel Centre
• The upgrade of Mablethorpe High Street

The CCT also runs Focus Groups which currently are looking at these specific issues:

• Youth engagement projects
• The replacement of the Conoco gas terminal at Theddlethorpe
• The proposed rail link between Mablethorpe and the main Grimsby to Doncaster line via the Fairfield estate and the Humberside Airport
