Orchard House is a Care Home in Mablethorpe that can accommodate 52 adult residents for day, respite, palliative and long term care. We are well established with an excellent reputation and rated “good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As well as the usual common and dining areas we have a hair salon and a visiting hairdresser, chiropodist, dentist, optician and physiotherapist to ensure our residents needs can be met by trusted providers operating in our familiar and safe surroundings.

We accept private clients as well as those funded by social services for whom we do not charge a top-up fee. Visitors are welcome at any time though meal times are best avoided to allow our staff to focus on ensuring residents get the nourishment and refreshment they require.

We have our own mini bus and take residents on regular outings. It is also used for day care visitors allowing us to offer a pick up and drop off service.

Helping You From Hospital to Home

We can assist individuals who are being discharged from hospital but not yet ready to return home. This can include stroke victims and those with temporary mobility problems following an operation or accident who will be placed under the care of our visiting physiotherapist.

Our Specialist Dementia Suite

Our ten bed dementia suite offers a more secure environment for these vulnerable patients with a high ratio of specially trained staff.

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST)

We are delighted to offer this tried and tested programme in Mablethorpe at no charge. The therapy is for people in the early stages of dementia and involves two one hour sessions each week for seven weeks. The positive results have been known to provide more benefit than medication.
